We specialize in designing and installing gardens in and around Cape Town, and we have managed projects as far afield as Church Haven. We manage the installation process, from designing to planning through to completion, including seasonal maintenance thereafter.
Owner Michael Reynolds brings a wealth of experience and passion for his trade. He has created and designed many gardens in Cape Town. He propagates his plants, shrubs and trees from the nursery, all grown within the local climate. He has extensive experience and knowledge of what will flourish in your area.

Meet Our Team
Cape Flora Landscaping has a passionate team of nine full-time members. Owner Mike Reynolds started the business in 2018, after many years’ experience working in the industry, both locally and abroad.
Mike Reynolds
Mike grew up on a farm in Zimbabwe, which instilled in him a love for the outdoors and a passion for plants. After completing a Diploma in Horticulture at Durban Technikon, Mike furthered his studies at Ohio State University in USA. Whilst in the USA he worked at a number of growing nurseries and retail garden centres, where his passion for creating outdoor living spaces was fuelled. This eventually led Mike to Cape Town in 2010, where for 8 years he worked and became a partner at a well-known landscaping company.
Since founding Cape Flora Landscaping in 2018, Mike has carried out all aspects of landscaping, including the design, construction, irrigation and installation of a garden. He loves to get involved personally in each project and is not afraid to get stuck in with his team and get his hands dirty.
Mike has a great team of long serving employees experienced in all aspects of the landscaping world, including planting, pruning, stone masonry, irrigation, maintenance, carpentry, drainage and rain water harvesting.
Japhet Zhuwau
Japhet is a great team leader with good relationship skills to supervise and co-ordinate the team to ensure the job runs smoothly. Over the years he has continued to up-skill himself and is now competent in all aspect of garden installation and man management. Japhet and Mike have worked together for the past 12 years and have built up a good rapport with each other, thereby creating an efficient, skilled team to make your envisaged garden a reality.
